Third Game - Dark Sanctuary

[A - ACTION - Goldberg Street
Say, Mayfield. You remember Ryo Bakura, right? Kinda awkward British kid, blabbers on and on and on about some children's card game you've probably never heard of? A little bit meek and kinda skittish? Well, no longer. See, he recently received a powerful item known as the Millennium Ring. It's an ancient Egyptian artifact of unspeakable power---though a lot of that power seems to have been drained by Mayfield itself. Still, the one thing the Ring does still allow?
Is for the five thousand-year-old Egyptian tombrobber, Yami Bakura, to maintain near-complete control of his poor, pathetic host. And after hearing about what chaos has been brewing in Mayfield from his dear wife, Téa, Yami Bakura's managed to neutralize her before deciding to head into town to get a good look at all this madness for himself.
It hardly disappoints. Yet there's something he feels he can add to this game to make it a little bit more fun...
B - ACTION - Outside the Post Office
The dark spirit lurches down the sidewalk, his hand curled over a bloody hole in his face where his left eye used to be. What sort of an idiotic trade was that? He snarls in rage. Losing an eye for his deck, of all things? All the same... it was his host's eye that was lost. Not his, though it might as well have been.
His free hand clenches his deck in fury... and something delightfully unexpected happens. At the very top of Yami Bakura's deck is a powerful monster (and a particular favorite of his, at that). The Millennium Ring glows with bright energy, and when next Bakura looks up, he can see that his monster now stands before him in physical form. Ready and willing to serve.
C - ACTION - Around Town
So here's another question for you, Mayfield. Are you hallucinating the various monsters you see before you in addition to your greatest fears? Or is there a chance that your worst nightmares may have come to life?
Whatever the answer, it doesn't change the fact that Dark Necrofear is slicing through drones left and right with her obsidian blade. And accompanying it? The sound of horrible, blood-curdling laughter.
Welcome to Mayfield, indeed.]

Now that can't be much of a challenge for you. Those drones aren't even resisting.

Date: 2011-11-18 02:16 am (UTC)[Drones are the mindless puppets of the town. Wherever there is an the absence of rationality, the good Doctor always has advantage in numbers. With but a thought, the helpless drones that went unchallenged by Dark Necrofear turned more aggressive.
One drone used his own body to defend against the blades while another drone used a tree branch to strike at her sides. Other drones began to approach the obvious master of the monster.]

Date: 2011-11-18 03:00 am (UTC)No matter. Yami Bakura's still got plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Some sort of strange glyph appears on the ground before him, only for a dark creature (http://images.wikia.com/yugioh/images/c/c3/MorphingJarGLD4-EN-GUR-LE.png) to shoot from it in an almost cylindrical form, sending Bakura's attackers flying into the air.]

Trading your eye for your card games?

Come now. Go back in and trade back. However much you like your games, this isn't the way to go.

Date: 2011-11-18 02:25 am (UTC)This is senseless, even if they're just drones. N hasn't touched any of the mushrooms, but he's starting to suspect that they might give off spores. That laugh... it sounds familiar.
He leaves strict orders with his Pokémon to stay behind a group of bushes and approaches on his own, searching for the source of the laughter by himself.]

[And then he sees the blood on his face. Without much of any regard for personal space, N puts a hand in Ryo's hair to move it out of the way and get a better look.]
What happened to you? Was it that thing killing people?

[Although her blade is already glowing with green light, there's a sudden flash of white energy. The blade will be quite blade-like and cutting if it makes impact, but it will be immediately followed by a burst of kinetic force intended to knock it off its feet.
She casts a look back at the source of the voice, and her eyes are wide and fearful.]
Run! Run while you still can!
[That's not a threat. That's a panicked plea for him to save himself. Her reality and actual reality are not currently in step.]
